Ils ont aimés !

Summary : We arranged with Agadir Visite a private tour of Tiout - Taroudant ; a day tour for four people . Hamid , the manager took care of all arrangements . Both the visit in Taroudant and Tiout were excellent but the guide Abderrahim was exceptional . Though Abderrahim does not speak English we went with him because we were bilingual . Hamid and other guides of the agency do speak English . Detailed Review : At the harbor upon disembarkation we found Hamid who introduced us to our guide Abderrahim (Abdou) . Immediately we could see that Abdou was determined to make our visit unforgettable . Abdou is one of the very best guides we have ever had the pleasure of being with . He did absolutely everything in his power to be friendly , attentive , and responsive to our every wish . He also answered all of our questions with never hesitation nor evasion . It was truly a wonderful day we spent with him , for which we thank the agency very much . Taroudant was quite interesting though (not of any fault of the agency , the boat landed on a Friday) many shops of the souk were closed and the tanneries were closed . Despite this mishap , the visit was lively and helped us discover a number of trades that we saw practiced in front of our eyes . While visiting the Argan factory , we actually noticed that Abdou complemented very nicely the rather schematic presentation of the shop's guide . Everywhere we would go he would always add very valuable information . The visit in Tiout was exceptional . To our surprise , the walk in the palm grove was very interesting ; it was led by the owner of the Kasbah , Ahmed Jaafar (Oasis de Tiout Maison d'Hôte) . It was an excellent occasion to learn the way of living in the small village and the activities of the inhabitants in the palm grove . The lunch at the Kasbah was delicious , very interesting and the food was plenty . We ate on the roof of the Kasbah which gave us a beautiful view of the mountains faraway and the surroundings of the interesting small village ; it did have an exotic cachet . On the way to the ship tirelessly Abderrahim continued talking about Morocco , the region , the towns "The taste of Abderrahim and the Agency"Âť we made two additional stops on the way to the ship . The first was stop to "la Maison Traditionelle"Âť in Agadir , a very interesting shop where we actually found everything that our hearts might have desired . There were good quality products and very interesting artisanal items (some of which were actually antiques) ; a real plus , none of the sale persons were pushy or overbearing . The second and last gift stop was the climb over the hill "La Kasbah" from which the view of the sun setting over the town and the harbor was quite beautiful . Abdou is an exceptional guide who truly merits our appreciation . We do recommend very highly Agadir Visite , it is a great and reliable agency . We would like to say a very particular thanks to Hamid to have arranged for us such fantastic trip and Abdou for his kindness and thoughtfulness . We have left our hearts with you !
